3.9 mile paved trail that runs from the Lake Artemesia Natural Area to Cherry Hill Road Community Park in College Park, MD. It follows along Paint Branch.
As a trail in the colorful Anacostia Tributary Trail System, the Paint Branch Trail uses blue for its dashed lines.
Trail History[]
On September 24, 2001, an F3 tornado touched down and ravaged parts of College Park. Part of its path crossed the Paint Branch Trail near the Paint Branch Golf Course, and trail users can still see some of the damage to the trees when passing along the western side of the golf course.
